New Delhi: Low-cost carrier Go First is still working to restore its official Twitter account which was hacked, an airline official said on Thursday.

The hack of the official Twitter account was reported early Wednesday morning.

In a statement on Wednesday, the airline said its Twitter account had been compromised.

All the teams concerned were investigating the case to restore and regain control as soon as possible. It is also working closely with Twitter to resolve the issue, he said.

On Wednesday, after the account was compromised, the display name was changed to “vitalik.eth” with the photo of Vitalik Buterin. Buterin is one of the co-founders of the Ethereum cryptocurrency. Later, the display name and image were deleted, but the account is still not restored.

Also in January this year, the airline’s Twitter account was compromised.

Last month, Akasa Air suffered a data breach resulting in certain customer information being accessed by unauthorized individuals.
